MCS also offers" interior" pest control services. Although we do not do much on the interior of the home, this service will prevent and eliminate interior insects. This is a special service offered at discounted rates for our existing customers.

We have found that with the new products available, harsh chemicals for the interior are not necessary, or wanted by most of our customers. As far as we are concerned, the days of the old fashioned exterminator entering your home and spraying baseboards, and in cabinets with harsh insecticides are over. We perform this service from the outside, and you do not even have to be home for treatments to be performed.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

We focus on creating a barrier treatment around the exterior perimeter of the house, sealing all entry point, to prevent any insects from entering the home.

Our Initial Service includes:

1. Applying Insecticide Dust in all exterior weep holes.  The holes are then stuffed with copper mesh.  This kills all insects living inside the wall voids and the copper mesh prevents new insects from re-entering the house.  This usually needs to be performed only once per year during the initial treatment.
2. We then spray the exterior of the house, windows, doors, eaves, plumbing and electrical insertions points, and all other possible exterior to interior entry areas. This creates a protective barrier, which eliminates any potential entry points. We use a new micro-encapsulated product that has an extended residual effect.
3. We then perform a perimeter spray using our new backpack blower.  We use a high powered blower with the same micro encapsulated insecticide to target any insects which may be living in ground cover or landscaping around the perimeter of the home. We will spray 2-3 feet around the perimeter of the home and use this same application method to target all lower eaves and soffits to eliminate any possibility of insects entering through the attic ventilation areas.
4. We also will clean all spider webs around entry areas and all first level eaves and windows to keep the property looking clean and insect free.

We really try to focus on keeping the insects out before they have a chance to get inside.

If you have a current infestation and need interior treatment we have several new products that we use.  All are eco-friendly and considered mild and rated low in toxicity. We have new sealed bait stations for ant and roach control.  These sealed stations are placed under sinks and cabinets, and around all wet areas that are conducive to insect populations..  We also will spot treat with gel bait in cracks and crevices in other areas, like under sinks, cabinets under appliances, water heater and other plumbing areas for insects that may be more resistant.  We will also strategically place glue boards in other areas to help monitor insect activity.

We have found, after many years of experience, this is the best way to effectively prevent and maintain insect control, with minimum chemicals on the interior.  We really try to avoid interior sprays unless it is needed.

We typically need to treat 4 times per year, March, May, July and September, usually the same time we are servicing your automated insect control system. and  will return upon request at no additional charge in between visits to retreat, or spot spray problem areas at your request.
